From the Office & Studio

We've stayed busy during the summer and early fall with several projects. My new book, Thirty Years in a White Haze is now in the hands of our publisher. We're excited to be working with Rootstock Publishing for the early 2021 release of this book. If you pre-ordered it, THANK YOU! We'll send your copy as soon as the book comes off the press. Stay tuned for the timing. Personally, I can’t wait!

I've been hosting Ski Talk twice monthly on Pugski.com and their Facebook page, tune in for that on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 pm EST. It’s a fun 45 minutes covering ski industry news, Q&A with ski heroes and chats about the latest ski & snowboard films being released this year.

Optimistic Outlook

There are lots of questions about what the upcoming ski season will look like. My read on it is the resorts are being forthright about what to expect and how to prepare. Retailers are reporting solid sale numbers for the fall and winter sports enthusiasts everywhere are amped up and ready to rumble on the slopes!

Please check out this season's Big Sky Camps schedule below. Plus, I’ll be announcing another Western Resort location for this coming season in the next newsletter so please stay tuned for that.

Finally, enjoy my interview with PSAI-AASI on the First Chair podcast link that follows.

See you in snow country,

Dan

Hello SkiClinics Friends,

Can you feel it? Winter is rolling in! Snow has been falling in Colorado, Montana, and here in the Northeast. There's great anticipation in the air as well as pent up demand for the new ski season to begin.

PSIA-AASI - First Chair Podcast

On October 15th live show, Extreme Skiing Pioneer Dan Egan discussed how to build client connections. With more than 500 listens in the first three days of the podcast’s release, Dan’s recent interview with PSIA-AASI on First Chair is getting snow sports instructors and enthusiasts excited and prepared for this season. Dan shares his lessons on how to build great client connections and deliver on the promise he gives at the beginning of every lesson and clinic: “We’re going to have a great day!”

White Haze

Dan Egan and co-author Eric Wilbur are proud to announce their new book 'Thirty Years in a White Haze.'
